We have several opportunities available, some of them are short term and others can be as long as you desire to participate.

We currently need these special skills volunteers:         

Art teacher, teaches oil painting, watercolor, acrylic, pencil drawing or ? We can adjust the hours for this class as required by the volunteer.

• Choir Director- This will be working with amature singers and you will need patience and not expect perfection. For more information please call us, thank you.
• Line Dance instructor, keeping it simple and a little slower for the seniors is better. Thanks for considering us, we will work with you.

If you would like to volunteer your time and talents to the participants of Liberty Senior Center, please call us. We probably will have a job that you will love. If you have an offering in mind we would love to hear your ideas.

Your willingness to fill in when we are short of help is so much appreciated, especially with the loss of help at the front desk. This puts a strain on our already limited staff, and as we have said before, we could not continue the programs and activities that we like to provide without the continued help of our SPECIAL volunteers!

Volunteering is the best way there is to reduce loneliness and the depression that can follow. It lifts ones soul and outlook on life when we are in the service of others and involved in making our part of this planet a better place…..Thanks to all!!!
