We have scheduled a doctor of Podiatry every second month for toenail clipping. This service is not available to those who have diabetes.
There are many other screenings and services available e.g. fall risk assessment, flu shot clinics, skin cancer screenings; arthritis, diabetes, and chronic pain management support groups. This is our biggest event of the year! Annually held at Liberty Senior Center this is the original senior health and resource fair in Salt Lake County. The purpose of this fair is to help keep the senior population aware of the many resources available to them, and how to access those resources.
We also offer many free health related screenings and informational booths. The Fair is comprised of over 50 vendors from government, private and non-profit agencies and attended by more than 400 seniors.
All of this is offered free of charge to attendees and there is a nominal fee for the vendors to help offset the costs related to this event.
